I can't tell you what a joy it is to see this...honestly and truly...it's like drinking from the Fountain of Rich and Beautiful Technicolor. Up here it hasn't snowed yet but it's in the 20's, dull and oh so soul-drenchingly grey...bleccch! Your royal purples and vivid oranges and blues revive my eyes and rekindle my spirit. Thank you!
I meant to post this on your blog anniversary...Its amazing to go back and see how much your style of drawing has changed since you started. I can see a glimmer from back then of how you draw now. Its wonderful. ♥
I agree with Barbara! The amount of gorgeous, colorful work you create is simply staggering. Maybe my new year's resolution should be "to have Geninne's work ethic!"
Hi Geninne, I love your use of colors and ditto what everyone else said! Your work is so inspiring! Hugs from Alaska, where it is blue, gray and white right now. :)
Gennine, I always love to look at your beautiful blog. Your birds and butterfly drawing looks really interesting at the stage where the birds are in color but the flowers and butterfly are still in pencil. Have you considered stopping at this stage? It's an eye-catching contrast. Happy New Year!
Happy new year! Looking forward to more inspirations from you this year. I clicked the link to your water color set. Dick Blick shows it only in tubes of color while your set seems to be in tablet like form. Please let me know where to get the non-tube set :)
so lovely! thanks for showing the process. all that detail (in white) on the birds! and i also love to see your watercolor set. it has WAY more colors than mine. i'll have to find one of those.
Your artwork always brightens my day!!!

Love the purple bird. I hope this will fly into your shop.
These are so beautiful! I absolutely love your bird artwork. I got watercolors myself for Christmas and I'm really excited to learn how to use them.
