this is amazing! The chincol holds a very special place in my heart, it has been inspiration for many of my drawings and sketches. I just love how bold these little guys can be, considering their size.
I was wondering if you have considered selling prints of the Chincol illustration? I am from Chile (currently living in FL) but my dad LOVES the Chincol (it is his username/email everywhere)and I would love to buy it for him.
I love love your art! I would love to own a piece one day too!
I saw your work in the book Drawing Lab by Quarry Books and I tell you what, I loved everything you did and said! I am so glad you have a blog. Happy New Year to you, can't wait to update myself on your posts and look forward to new ones. Take care and happy art-making! ps cute kid :)

Just beautiful, Gennine. I'm constantly amazed by how perfectly you distill the essence of each flower and bird you draw. Such simple-looking lines, yet such perceptiveness!

The image of the chincol is absolutely beautiful. I love how you did the border.
You have admirers of every age. :)
I like the shadow effect you created on the wings--a lovely departure from your usual style. And the expression on the baby's face is priceless.
