grade 1!!!!!!!!!
i think i was only finger painting in grade 1
Adorable! Whenever I go visit my niece and nephew we all sit down to make art. And they loveeee quietly peeking over to see what I'm doing. They don't want to be too obvious about copying me.. it's so cute! But i think it's the greatest compliment in the world! ♥
This is amazing! You must be so proud!!
Those are amazing!
BTW, I showed my husband your birds, and he agreed -- they're meant to be in a grouping behind the bed in our new bedroom!
Thank you for the referral to that blog. It's a valuable resource for teachers who are left on their own with no formal art lessons available in their schools as budgets shrink, but who are seeking out creative ideas for simple fun art projects for their kids.
Also, I am continually impressed at how your cute little birdies are finding their way into so many hearts and minds!
These are sooooo great. What an honor. Children's art is THE best!
Great! So young, too!Children can do miracles! Congrats to the teacher as well!Ariadne from Greece!

First grade??? WOW - that's one talented class. I have to say that I think you've inspired them.
Amazing work! We have a very similar art program at my daughter's school which we feel SO fortunate to have. A great teacher and school support of the arts makes a world of difference. We even had the Gee's Bend quilters come out to work with the students one year to make a quilt.
What an incredible compliment. Those kids did awesome work, too. How sweet is that!
So nice!
That's too cute!
How cool is that! If there ever was a "hommage", this is it!
I like the way kids see things different and so unprejudised... Greetings...Peebee
