Home Is Where The Heart Is

"Home is where the heart is"
"Home is where the heart is"
"Home is where the heart is"
"Home is where the heart is"
I had always wanted to make one of these mixed media collage art boxes
and I finally sat down and made one this week.
It was great working with volume & depth,
it reminded me of the fun I had creating 3-D conceptual projects while studying architecture in Chile for a couple of years way back in the late 80s.
A shout out to my classmates at the Universidad de Valparaiso!

It's almost too beautiful to be true. Reminds me of those dark blue prints that disappeared from the etsy shop shortly before I was finally ready to buy them ....

Super original como todas tus creaciones! Me emocionó ver que usaste la cita: Home is where the heart is, porque es la misma que tengo en el desk de mi compu en un diseño que hice con mi extrañada peky.
Sigo visitando tu blog casi a diario pues me inspira muchisimo tu arte.

Dear Geninne,
I finally received the postcards.
Thank you so much - they are so very beautiful. I will chose carefully who will get one of them. They will only be for special beloved people, and one of them I will keep for myself. Thank you once again.
My very best regards,
Lisa

So fun! I specially admire work like this because I have such a hard time with collage. Depth, yes. Collage, not in me—and don't know why.
