Progress Report

I wanted to finish it today but I burned the middle finger on my right hand while making curry and the bulky bandage made it a bit challenging to hold the brush.
Manolo insisted I let him put some mud on the burn and it really works
...it took the pain away almost instantly :)
I'm hoping to finish it over the weekend. Hope you have a good one!

not having easy access to mud I always do ice until it stops searing and then fresh aloe vera
heal quickly my friend
are your fingers insured??? They are so valuable
Yes; look after those fingers!
Such a lovely image; so vibrant.

The bird looks great!! Love the idea of mud on a burn, I can see that that would work quite well.
I'm getting lots of compliments on your wallpaper - people love it!
Thanks again,
Kit
If you don't have access to mud, toothpaste works too for burns.
Have a good weekend!
It looks great - coming along colourfully! Hope you are back to painting soon!
Sorry to hear about your finger, hope you're not in too much pain and that it heals quickly. Sounds like the mud was really helpful.
I'm nursing three blisters on my right hand at the moment and it seems that everything I do presses on them.
oh no, I'm so sorry you burnt yourself, Geninne. I hope it will heal quickly & correctly. I didn't know the mud tip (noting it down in my head)
The bird looks absolutely alive, but do take care of these precious hands first, the bird can wait.

Take care of yourself so you can continue on with this beautiful bird.
Can't remember if this painting is outside or in, will you seal the painting from the elements?
Looking stunning Geninne, very inspiring!

Coconut Oil is also fabulous for burns. I've had burns stop hurting after a couple of minutes using coconut oil. It's amazing.
I love your work & your blog.

OUCH on the burn! I must note down the 'mud' for burns. Mustard is another great home remedy for burns. It takes the pain away almost straight away.
