The birdie on the wall is almost finished, I painted the wings a couple of days ago and I'm waiting for it to dry completely before adding all the white details. My finger is completely healed, the mud worked like a charm. Manolo was right :)
Yay! So happy you're all mended. I must remember the mud trick. I wonder if English mud works as well as Mexican mud. Our wet weather makes lots of mud!

It is beautiful and a lovely way for you to put your mark on the house. I hope you do some more! How is your Sketchbook 2011 project going? I signed up to this project after reading about it on your blog.
Maybe you should start selling the Mexican mud on the internet! With a small bottle of water to re-mud it... Hehehehehehe...
Love the bird. Looks like it just escaped from the cage and is flying toward its newfound freedom!
You inspired me to paint and draw again. Nowhere near as good as you, but I still think it turned out cute! I posted it on my blog on www.hoppinup.blogspot.com ! I would LOVE to hear what you think!
Hello! You have been busy - or me and din't visit you few days... the bird and all the wall is beautiful! Fantastic flowers and paintings! And of course 'Turbo' is the best! Your son has made it perfect for the great blackboard! Best wishes Teje and Nero
This is such a great idea and it turned out so well -- beautiful!
Would love to see the finished bird once you add the details.
GREAT! I can't wait till it will be finished! :-)

It looks great. I love it when homes have a touch of whimsy to them. This bird is such a nice detail.
Glad your finger healed. I'll remember mud next time.

it looks like the birdie was set free from the cage and it's winging it's way through your home.
