A Gift for You
Manolo, the boys & I are off to Southern California for a few days tomorrow!
But before we leave for the Holidays I wanted to thank you for being so incredibly generous & kind with me. I made this little watercolor birdie (3.5" x 5") for you and I'm giving it away along with a signed copy of my book "Making An Impression". Oooh! I already bought your splendifferous book Geninne, it arrived a week ago and I have been hacking up all my erasors and making all sorts of wonderful things! It is incredibly practical but also a BEAUTIFUL book! How is everything you do so lovely? Anyway, I would love another copy, because my mum is an incredible artist and I can just see her turning some of her designs into stamps! And as much as I love my mum, I can't possibly part with my copy! (plus it already has turquoise ink smudges on it!!)

I love so much your work. the next two weeks I am getting eventually free time to sew a skirt with a piece of your blue bird fabric I got last summer. I am so excited about my little project (a skirt) though a bit worried I could ruin the fabric.
