Last Monday Margie, Tamara, Caitlin, lil Lili, Nicole and I traveled back in time to the 1800s and spent a wonderful day in the era of the pioneers at Black Creek.
You've captured such beautiful lighting and color in these shots! I live next to a number of historic sites and have photographed them often over the years, but I can never manage to get very good shots of their shadowy interiors. Not sure how you did it, but nice work :)
Looks like you were on a great photo shoot. You should come back in the summer when there's an open air quilt show with quilts hanging all over the village.
Beautiful images. Ironically, I am learning about a lot of new places in Toronto through you now :) I lived in Montreal 18 yrs and went to Toronto at least once a year, same now from the US. Can't wait to go to those markets this time, thanks to you :)
Thank you Geninne, for the beautiful desktop calendar this month! So lovely! And yes...of course, always better late than never...my motto most of the time!
Your compositions are intimate and simple; the colors so vivid and clear. Thank you for sharing Black Creek through your viewfinder. What a pleasure these photos are.
Your photos and Margie's together make for a wonderful synopsis of the visit!
And what a perfect red barn for a background for December's calendar ;-) !
