I have a new blackboard to play with in the studio.
I used a leftover floor tile we had from the new tv room & painted it
with homemade chalkboard paint: 1 cup of black (or color of your choice) paint
plus 2 tablespoons of un-sanded tile grout. Recipe from here.

I was looking for a December calendar desktop picture b/c of course I didn't bookmark the one I found last month. I'm so glad though b/c I found your blog and love it very much!! My 1 daughter is an avid birder and I know she'll love your blog too. I really enjoyed looking at your creativity!
