I love japanese craft books and japanese culture in general. I'm studying their wabi-sabi concept and I would like to use it in my creations. Thank you for the beautiful images. I follow your blog since a long time, but I'm too shy to comment ;) Ciao!
Thanks for sharing this Geninne. They do look really interesting and different. What a cool new thing to know about. Ah the world and its many wonders!
Would you look at those workspaces/desks all beautifully old and wonderful... We will have eight!!! and build a room in the roof especially and pack it with markers and crayons and paints and fabric scraps and mountains of scrap paper... just dreaming!!!
Love Amalia's comment. So true. Love what you have up today. So subtle, understated and tasteful. Is that where you got the idea to paint the beautiful smooth stone?
I just started getting into japanese craft books, my boyfriends Aunt used to live in japan for some time and was sharing her books with me a few weeks ago, I love the simple ideas they give that can really change a room!
I am a bit of a Japanese craft book addict. I came across a little stash of them in a Japanese used bookstore in Honolulu and they were only $5 each. I was quite excited to say the least! Thank you for the little peek into your lovely collection.
