Iron-On
I made the little field bag with re-purposed linen from an old apron I never used
and printed one of my watercolor moths & a butterfly onto iron-on inkjet transfer sheets made by Strathmore, trimmed the shapes and ironed them on to the front flap of the bag as directed. To finish it off I embroidered a few details on top.
A surprise gift for a friend in a land far, far away.

you friend is going to adore this bag
There is no end to your creativity! Lovely.
Couldnt help asking, but in the first pic, is that a hook-sort of thing that you have painted a bird on?
at first glance looked similar to the painted stones that you have done earlier.
Just curious...to know if you made them or bought them?

Hola Geninne!
Very cool, Geninne! I really like that bag! And, I notice that the knob has a bird on it! Is that another of your creations!? You fill every inch of your home with creativity and love!
So beautiful. I am loving your art every day - using your march calendar as my computer background. Thanks :-)
Lovely!
Oh... Spring is coming...sooo lovely

While your beautiful gift for your friend is such a treasure, I just had to comment on the beauty of the cabinet knob it is hung from! I keep coming back to take another peek at it, lovely! The little touches, like that, that you surround yourself with are such an inspiration and reminder to observe the details in everything. Thanks for sharing :)
