Definitely beautiful, and inspiring too, for an architecture student. ;) I love the concrete wall, those wood-marks are full of character! It's like that theatre building here in London (can't be bothered to recall the name, but our tutor pointed it out to us). Fantastic job, Mr. Manolo!
finally commenting on your blog..i have been a regular follower...love your art and creativity...i wish i had a smidge of your talent! congratulations on your new home...the second pic looks like one out of an 'architechtural digest'. looks awesome! best of luck
The exposed concrete contrasts the warmth of the wood surfaces so beautifully, along with all the fresh white. Less artsy people often find the concrete part challenging, when it comes to imagine how to make a place cozy. But these views prove again that a concrete wall in a living room need not be cold and denying, not at all.
I wish you all the best in your new place! Congratulations!
Oh Geninne! This is another jewel! How long will you be there? With nomads like us one never knows but the start into a new house and new surroundings is always so miraculous. Manolo built a beautiful house (as far as I can see) and I cannot wait to see more of it and its surroundings. Just packing up a little something for you to send to my beloved Mexico! Hugs Yvonne
