This my friends, is the reason no art has been made in the past few weeks!
This is the state of my beautiful studio at the moment.
But things will change in the next couple of days & I can't wait to show you
what it will look like when I'm done sorting through all this mess :)
Ouch. Good luck! I'm sure it will be lovely when you are done.
Oh...mine has looked like that for a year now...which is why my painting is done in the kitchen...

jaja, very funny all the mess with a scream!
It is such a relief to see a studio that is not staged for the camera... or was it???
Oh no! (I'm sure you'll make it beautiful and inspiring soon enough.) :-)
Ha, ha! It's good to know you are human too. Enjoy your nesting!
I know the feeling my studio looks the same. However, I comfort myself with the thought that from chaos beautiful things will emerge.
On the brighter side.. the room looks all so spacious and brightly lit.. I can imagine how wonderful it will be after you manage to get everything organized.
Good luck & have fun.. ;-)
hugs,
SeaGal
I'm going to know exactly how you feel in about a week, we're moving too, "The Scream" pretty much sums it up :)
Anyhow, hope all goes well for you - would love it if you have any setup / organizing tips to share....
ps. you new digs are FABULOUS
Hey this looks like the space I create in as well! Looking forward to seeing it when you are done!
Just be happy!!
Such a job-but it will be nice when it is all organized and you know where everything is!!
Ha! What a contrast to the lovely pictures we've seen so far. I'm sure it will be looking calm, peaceful and beautiful in no time : )
It can seem overwhelming when you're faced with a pile of boxes like that but I'm sure it will look amazing when you're done. Good luck and have fun.
I laughed when I saw this....but my focus is the light bulb hanging from the ceiling....it looks so lonely and forlorn.
Love the scream next to your studio photo! Ha.
I look forward to your newly organized studio. Good luck!
Wow!!!!!

:)
:D I had the same mess in my studio today-wheww... I managed to organize it in well..couple of hours. But my room is way smaller:)
have fun!;)
When I face the same situation I remember what a dear friend told me, "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time."
(But who wants to eat an elephant?)
Moving is such an overwhelming task....but we will patiently wait for you because we know once everything is unpacked and in place, you're going to make something wonderful and dreamy. You always come through that way. So-take your time arranging, rearranging. (I am an admirer of your "groupings" which I find inspirational.) It will be worth the wait. : ) Peace
what mess, looks normal to me!!
ah, the joys of unpacking!
oh that's just frightening! but you get to reorganize everything as you unpack and that is fun:)
oh i love a peek at the chaos - out of which you will create such stunning beauty.
HI!
The new house looks amazing.
Sona
Yep, that brings back memories.....
Good luck and remember one step at a time - inbetween tea breaks... ;)
Oh cielos qué horror! Bueno en nada lo tienes todo ordenadito de nuevo. Un estudio con luz y calidez. Me encanta la nueva casa, Manolo es un maestro de la arquitectura.
Un abrazo!
Lucky you can confine it to one room. For me, chaos everywhere I look! I can understand you're excited about getting it fixed up but you'll need that fab kitchen / dining area to retreat to every so often.
The light coming into that room seems like a dream - enough of a dream to make me not focus on the boxes. The boxes are temporary. The light that you will have coming into that studio, although constantly changing, will be there with you every day. What an inspiring place it will be. Carolina
Now that looks more like my place! But i'm sure you will have it looking stunning in no time! and then start producing some delightful pieces soon after that!
I know exactly what you are going through...moved my studio THREE times half way round the world...took me forever to get it all sorted out but eventually eveything will be in working order and you can get back to the business of living instead of unpacking.

There's nothing more satisfying than putting everything away in it's proper place. I actually envy that sort of work! I am sure the room will be absolutely stunning when it's finished.
oh my goodness.....i feel your pain!! (and now that i think of it.....my studio is quite an unorganized mess right now, but i don't have a move to blame it on!!!). good luck :)))
Genial! Eso explica mucho. Pero el espacio se ve hermoso, es grande e iluminado, una delicia de lugar para crear! En estos días vi una frase que creo se aplica en este momento: "para los artistas limpiar el taller es como limpiar el alma"!
Oohhhh... I have been there, and feel your pain! My "new" painting studio was actually in that state for six months from the time we moved into our newly built house before my husband finished building the storage racks in my studio. It was TOTALLY worth the wait. It took so long because I wanted to get the rest of the house settled first. I can't be creative unless my home is in order. Be patient... you'll get it done eventually! Until then... enjoy feathering your new nest.

When you post photos of your absolutely gorgeously organized house, I wonder if you even have a bunch of stuff and where you put it? I don't know what I would do without a basement. Oftentimes it looks like your current studio. Is that ceiling concrete like the wall you showed?
Wow! that is what my studio looks like too, scream and all. sigh.
Even with everything yet to be unpacked, I can still see that this is going to be a beautiful studio space Geninne! The roof and the windows are just perfect.
Good Luck!
We are waiting to see your next projects!
Probably, while you're unpackaging you'll have a lot of awesome ideas. I'm sure of it!

aiai, I'm going in to this state.
I've to pack in my studio also to move to another one.
With less space:(
So I wish you good luck!!
hahaha i love the parallele with Munch :D
good luck for placing everything in order :)
Your house is turning to be amazing again! I like those corner windows!
Unfortunately it's going to take some time since I'll be in this phase in my future "atelje" - but the view is already there, waiting for me and it's beautiful. :)
We also wanted to leave concrete ceiling in one room, but the texture didn't come out as good as we wanted, so we painted it. But without birds - it's a kitchen/dining ceiling and I wouldn't want them above my head while eating and be constantly afraid if they will... you know :)
Lep pozdrav! Greetings!
