Pressed plants

Pressed plants
Little bits I've been collecting on our walks.
There has been a lot of football watching & not a lot of art making these past few days.

Pretty! And the flowers kept their colour quite well...

Mexico surely went off to a good start! On to some more magical football moments during the coming days and of course...Holland in the finals ;)

I had a pressed flower block when I was a little girl and loved collecting things to press. I wish I still had it!

I saw your stamp carving piece in Crafts N Things latest issue. Totally awesome! Have you seen it?

Geninne, I know what you mean... about the fútbol ... my whole family came down with a bad case of "Chilenitis" with all of this stuff. My parents, who now also live in the U.S. actually stood up during the singing of the chilean national anthem and sang along. Can you just imagine them? "...Puro, Chile es ttu cielo azulado ... puras brizas te cruzan también" they called me right after and told me they had tears in their eyes ... that is until the next partido began.

I love your blog, no... I LOVE your blog.
