Watercolor and acrylic ink on handmade Twinrocker paper. 6 x 8 inches

Here's a little sneak peek of our new house.
The photo above is the pretty view from what will be Daniel's room.
We'll be moving in the new house in 6 weeks!
There's a train that goes by several times a day below our house,
I hope we get used to all the choo-chooing :)
Wow!! What a view! That is a painting in itself! My son would be ga ga for the train!
My grandmother lived near the train line and I used to love hearing the train. It ended up being background noise...but it was part of her house. Now I hear the train and I think of her lovely house. How exciting to move in so soon!!! Good luck
I love leaves!
I also live near the train-line and I don't notice it in a way that it would bother me.
It's quite nice because once a day there's also an old train passing by.
I'm sure you're going to love it, too - wish you all the best in the new house!
now, THIS is the piece of art that i really feel drawn to.
wonderful view.
That is one awesome view!
if my son could see a train from his window he would never leave the house except to go to the train station and watch them up close.
lovely painting!
Beautiful blue flowers!
And I can't wait to see more of your new house. That view is very beautiful.
My son would love to have a train go by his window! The more "choo choo"s the better! In fact, I guess I should make that a requirement if we ever move again!
Hope someday to see Daniel's own paintings of the view out his window. Will he ever be able to leave it?
Absolutely beautiful - as always!
a room with a view, that is! Daniel, I envy you!!
gorgeous view - lliam would feel like he's in heaven with the train in view everyday. Good luck with the move - can't wait to see more picks.
What a stunning view! I love all the layers of hazy hills. I'm sure the train will become ambient noise like our roosters crowing! Looking forward to seeing more pictures of your new home! Lucy x : )
my grandparents used to live just behind a train track and I loved visiting them and hearing the trains...it was comforting...not sure why.
Daniel's view is spectacular.
I'm sure your house is stunning through and through!
Have a great Tuesday,
Char
What a view! And how very exciting to be moving in 6 wks. We have train tracks nearby also, like 1.5 blocks away. After 30 years, I'm used to the whistle!
Ahhhhhh...it looks so peaceful....
train sounds are very relaxing
they remind me of my child hood cottage and now the commuter train to toronto is my indicator that I have overslept.
lovely!
amazing view!lucky you!! :)
I used to live near a train station....soon you wont hear it at all,one gets used to it :)
Amaazing view! How fortunate he is ...
WOW! Great view!
