ohhh! i love these. i work 12 hrs on monday so i will be missing out on your items (as i am sure they will sell out fast), but hopefully you will make some more in the near future. thank you for sharing! :) happy valentine's day.
I'm sorry to bother you. I'm such an admirer of your work. I wondered if you could tell me what paint you use to print with. I had real difficulty with my carved stamps and printing. I know that you've used stamp pads in the past, but these look as if they've been rolled with paint for print. Thanks so much!
Wow! these are all wonderful!! I love the Combination of colors! My favorite is the one with the tree rings! I also love the Ancient Map,Where did you get that from?
These are absolutely beautiful. I just love them. I just found your blog, and it is so inspiring. I'm an artist and just started a blog and I love to meet new artists!
I love the blocks !!! I read your blog every day, and this week I finally took the big leap and started my own blog. It is still pretty rough, but, I would love to know what you think. http://marthannsmusings.blogspot.com. Your work is amazing.
I am quite new to your blog, but I find your work just blissful. I love that you LOVE birds, and they feature so much in your work. What products do you use for the stamps? I've used lino before, but yours looks so much better. bliss you x
What beautiful work, so elegant, and beautifully shot too. I am fascinted. What is the stamp block made of? My husband is fascinated. I have lino cut in the past, wood blocks all sort, but not seen something like this. Wonderful stuff.
These images are very inspirational. I usually work with colored pencil, but after seeing these photos I ned to carve some stamps and print! Like other folks who have already posted, I also am interested in finding out what material you use to carve your stamps.
So beautiful! In my humble opinion, everything you do just keeps getting more and more amazing. Thank you for so generously sharing your talent and know-how with all of us.
The pattern at the University of Washington (UW) has followed the national trend, but at a somewhat slower rate. In 1996, more than 60% of UW students chose careers in primary care (family medicine, general internal medicine, or general pediatrics), but in 2005, fewer than 30% of students did so. This trend has been followed with increasing alarm by the UW’s many educational partners in the 5 states in WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho), a partnership between the UW School of Medicine and nearby states.
Not only do I remember the set you made last year, but I also remember praying for you and your family during the swine flu early days. Glad you all are doing fine. God is good!
Hi Geninne, I especially love the photo of the stamps on the map of the US, North East and my home state: Maine!
@BrownRobin I've used a roller with Speedball water-based block printing inks with some success. My block was too large for a stamp pad. It took some practice to get the right amount of ink on the roller. Hope this helps
Oh! oh! oh!! I've been away from this lovely site for so long. Work has eaten my life, and I have so missed being here. what a treat to come back to these lovely prints. I must have a set, to go with the first set that is framed and waiting for companions.
