That was a nice article. 1500 square feet is on the bigger side here in L.A. I think it will be perfect. We are living in 900 square feet, five of us right now... i'd love an extra 600'... that be perfect! (rings are like wheels for hamsters... lol)

I love to hear you lived in 4,000 sf and are limiting yourself to 1500 sf. I live in 1200 sf and have been dreaming of a bigger house for about 7 years. But, I love my neighborhood and it feels too much like home now to leave. My little ranch is well designed and functional. Also, I agree how nice it is to be close by with the kids. My new dream is remodeling my kitchen, and making a studio out of my sunroom!
