Illustration Friday: REMEMBER

Watercolor on paper
baked fresh for today's Illustration Friday.

AMAZING FACT:
Birds remember exactly where they've hidden
thousands of seeds each autumn and find their way back
to their stashes using the sun, stars, landmarks
and sometimes the magnetic pull of the earth
to guide them.

Have a beautiful weekend friends.

You inspired me to fill the hummingbird feeder today. They usually don't come back around for another week but, what if they just happen to come early this year? What if the same ones come back and there's nothing here for them yet?

Fabulous colour, lovely quirky style - your blog is a delight. The birds in our part of the world not only create their own stash but watch the squirrels and raid theirs too!
