More fun stamping on Kraft paper :)

Cozy

I made a quilted cozy
for Manolo's French press
using my little succulent stamps.
(When stamping on fabric always use ink pads
intended for that purpose)
I was inspired by this beautiful cozy.
That gorgeous white mug
made it all the way to Mexico from
the talented hands of Nancy Bauch of
White Forest Pottery

I've been making so many birdies lately
that I decided to challenge myself
to a month of bird-free art starting today,
let's see if I can make it ;)

From the heart

This little birdie might not be the best singer,
but he sings from the heart.

Wrap

A great use for hand carved rubber stamps
is printing your own gift wrapping paper.

I love how the white ink looks
on Kraft paper.

Labeling

My label holders arrived yesterday!
and my sweet Manolo installed them
in perfect alignment.

I don't need to open all 16 little drawers

to find something anymore :)
It's a good thing!

My new little cabinet of curiosities.
I asked Manolo to have this made for me
& it arrived yesterday!

I just ordered some nickel label holders
from Etsy, to avoid having to open all of them
to find something...
The drawers are 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 10 inches.

Birdcall

Succulent collection

I just LOVE succulent plants,
so I hand carved myself a little collection
of stamps last night.

Remember the arrangement I made
a few months ago after a visit to a local nursery?
It has grown so much since then!
I wanted to share with you a

Fondue

We've got a small tv/guest room that gets
the prettiest golden light in the afternoon.
I made those two Georgia O'Keeffe
oil reproductions many years ago.
The Other painting peeking in the right
is an acrylic original by my son Daniel :)

Fun-due: A twice a year favorite
around these parts :)

Fog

We usually go for a walk at sunset
but today we decided to switch it up
and go for en early morning walk instead.

The fog was dense and beautiful.
