Succulent!
Succulent arrangementI created yesterday after a visit
to a wonderful cactus nursery called "La Unión".
I used an old rusty sowing plate (about 16 inches in diameter)
that I bought at the junk yard
to hold all my newly acquired treasures.
I was inspired by some amazing vessels
by Big Red Sun, a nursery in Austin, TX.
Thanks Toddy!

Oh, breathtaking! You have such a gift for turning the mundane into beauty!
Just beautiful. I'm passing this along to my cactophile friends.

I've been wanting to plant some succulents! Nice arrangement...
That looks awesome, I have given cacti as presents but never for myself, that arragement looks professionally done, you did a wonderful job..is this your first time and how long did it take.
Sigh. Oh to live somewhere warm enough to grow those in my garden.
That is really pretty. And I love the picture from that angle. Perfect!
beautiful arrangement! succulents have such a simplistic beauty sometimes!
I just bought several cacti also...put them in several clay pots in a grouping...such fun even in muggy Florida! Love your use of different textures and sizes.
Lovely, This reminds me of cactus and rock gardens n Phoenix, Arizona.
I live in Mexico City too (soy mexicana), and I suspect you live near my childhood home, but I'm not sure.
I found your blog in Illustration Friday. You make such wonderful things!
I've wanted a similar succulent composition for a while. Where is La Unión?
