I'm painting directly on heavyweight 100% linen with fabric paints to make a few pillow covers for our home and some as gifts. I will spend my day sewing which is a nice break from all the drawing I've been doing lately.
Gorgeous! Well, something I saw on Pinterest led me over here. I've "liked" your page on Facebook, ordered your book, added you as a contact on Flickr, favorited your shop on Etsy . . . And spent the last two hours drooling over your work on this blog. I have to go out now, but I'm leaving the page open so I can come back and look some more.
Just lovely! I've followed your work for awhile, but this was probably the first time I feel compelled to comment! I've begun printing on fabrics, new linen as well as vintage linens with embroidery on them, etc. It's so satisfying...
I absolutely love your artwork and blog Geninne!! You've got such a beautiful naturey creative style. I love the posts of your studio and house too, I think you should totally be on Aparment Therapy!
I love your linen covers.I also paint on silk and linen and thought you would be interested in knowing that you can buy a medium to mix with acrylics that turns them into fabric paints. It works out so much cheaper than having to buy all the colours in fabric paints.Golden is one company that has it -gac900,acrylic polymer emulsion.Hope this is helpful.
Your art is so lovely! The designs on your birds has inspired me to explore this in the felted birds that I make...Here are some...Hope you Like! http://zyloby.blogspot.com/2012/08/a-few-new-birds.html
Très joli !
Oh that moth/butterfly is stunning!
I love the butterfly and I can't wait to see the pillow it turns into (unless it's a gift, of course).
