I got carried away carving yesterday.
Love the white ink against that gorgeous deep blue
handmade paper I bought at our local art supply shop.
It reminds me of Japanese indigo shibori fabric.
I love this and after seeing all your amazing stamps its tempted me into buying some tools myself to have ago. I just hope one day I'll be making amazing stamps like you :) (one can dream anyway)
It is beautiful . I havé receive your book and it like you are not that far. I will bye the equipment this week end and very soon I will Try something. Thank so much ,you give me hours of pleasure. Francine from Montreal.
I love the look of the white ink on that lovely deep blue background. I found some white pens at a local shop that produces a similar look but I like the idea of ink which would work better for stamping applications. May I ask what brand ink you are using here?
Wow! Love the moths, the deep blue paper and white ink... the combo is amazing! I just bought some white pigment ink. I'm hoping I can use it with my paintings.
Hi Geninne, Today I already received your marvellous book (I live in the Netherlands). I am so glad with it. It even exceeds my expectations (those were already high...)! Thank you for creating it. I am very inspired by your designs and I will make a start by carving eraser stamps. Here in the Netherlands it is difficult to obtain carving blocks. On the internet prices for shipping are often higher than a block itself......So I will have to obtain some skills on eraser stamps before beginning with some more serious work. Thanks again.
Geninne, I am an old fan of your work/ talents. And also a proud owner of many birds... My husband is going to Mexico next week (we live in Chile now) and I wonder if it is possible to buy the blocks for carving in Mexico. I can't find them here in Chile. Thank you for always sharing your gorgeous work and giving us the illusion that it is so easy. I particularly adore your photos. You're such a multitask artist. Congrats, dear.

I'm wondering where you purchased such THICK carving material? What I have found at Michael's (and used) is at least half that thick. Lovely new stamps! Lynn
Gorgeous! Indigo shibori fabric is what I thought, too. This would make a beautiful table runner with blue & white oriental pottery. Will we see this in your etsy store?
Oh, this is a marvellous stamp! I now received your book in the post today and it is BRILLIANT. So much inspirations and thank you for sharing all the tips and tricks. Now off to start with the drawings! Have a lovely Sunday. Petra.

Its looking lovely on blue and yes resembles of Japan's graphics art
The first thing I thought of when I saw this was Japanese indigo fabric. So pretty.
Btw, I'm thinking of getting a moth tattoo because they love wool just as much as I do...
Beautiful!! I love your moths!
