oooh, this makes me miss my Northern California rainforest just a little bit. I have yet to spot ferns here in New Mexico (though legend has it they do exist along the Pecos River somewhere). That one with the black stem and the round leaves is my favorite. I miss seeing little sprays of it peaking from cracks in the rocks, magical among all the other forest plants.
You don't know what the name of that one is, do you?
Have you ever taken ferns and hammered them against linen or white cotton to transfer their color and shapes...cool project. Once again you are showing us how diverse Mexico really is, who would have known!
Hello. I tried to find a tuto who explain me how to create a tampon. I fell on your blog with the article of the feather. I find this very interesting and so I read your other articles. Your blog is very rich with your painting, yours photos and on idéas I was happy to discover it. (I hope I didn't make too many mistakes. I'm French and not very good in English :-p )
