Greens
I'm in love with all the pretty ferns, mosses, pennyworts and tiny mushrooms growing in the forest. These are just a few I picked up to be pressed.

I love how you're into your new surroundings, it always seems calm there, and you're busy working on new things after such a short time since moving. The greenery looks lovely :)

I love (love) how you take the most simple everyday items and instantly turn them into beautiful art.

It's truly gifts from the nature. If you have the time it would have been interesting to know how you press them, for how long and so on. Have a nice day among your finds:)

oooh, this makes me miss my Northern California rainforest just a little bit. I have yet to spot ferns here in New Mexico (though legend has it they do exist along the Pecos River somewhere). That one with the black stem and the round leaves is my favorite. I miss seeing little sprays of it peaking from cracks in the rocks, magical among all the other forest plants.

You don't know what the name of that one is, do you?

Have you ever taken ferns and hammered them against linen or white cotton to transfer their color and shapes...cool project. Once again you are showing us how diverse Mexico really is, who would have known!

Hi there. I've been following your blog for several months now, and I noticed that this seems about the longest you've gone without adding/updating.

I hope this is just a matter of getting settled into your new home and that all is well.

Just thought I'd let you know you're in my thoughts and I hope you're okay.
