I began this brand new 2011 by giving my cactus and succulent collection lots of love and affection :) If they're healthy & happy they provide me with endless inspiration.
I know this sounds silly and maybe it is unimportant, but you describe yourself as a stay at home mom instead of an artist. I know you home school, etc, but you are a working artist and an amazing talent. i am somewhat picky and have enjoyed your blog for the last few months I've been following it and it's been inspirational to me. I just think you should give yourself more credit as a working artist who also home schools her children. Your work really is special and should hold a place of honor as well. thanks for all you do! I've so loved the designs and your sense of style that I'd love to one day have a house designed and furnished by you and your husband. It seems like a true home. Happy New Year.
I received a little ceramic cone with succulents as a gift. Looking forward to adding more to my yard once we move forward a bit more with the Great Yard Re-Do Project.
I just returned from a few weeks visiting my in-laws in Hidalgo and it was all I could do not to grab up cuttings from the succulents my suegra's garden. You collection is wonderful. I thought of your illustrations and the colors you use often as I visited pueblos mágicos or walked around our tiny hilltop village.
I really miss having cacti (they don't do so well here in England)...I so look forward to the day when I move back to California so I can have them again! They are so inspiring and beautiful x
I love cactus and succulent. What a beautiful collection! Happy new year!

Son hermosos!!!!!! pero los que venden aqui en Home Depot no estan tan bonitos..... hay que ir a IKEA en carolina del norte para conseguir unos mas frescos y bonitos.
Dear, Gennine. Your flowers are wonderful! I also like succulents. But please give me advice, how often do you water them. It seems that I can't get it and several times already I lost them (some from the Sempervivum genus). I either water them too much, or too less.
Awesome ! Article was so commendable . I hope , you will give more information ........................................................ regards: http://www.viaam.com

Unless I leave the plants outside, then I am a bit of a black thumb. Mother nature does me right (most of the time) though.

Sea wind in my face

Rio de Janeiro, like you
Like you care
This sky, this sea,
These people happy
Well I wanted to write
A poem of love and love
It was everything I wanted
In all that I loved
And in the poem that I wrote
Had anyone happier than me
My love
