I'm spending this weekend painting stones. This is my first. Used acrylic inks and a coat of matte varnish. They'll be available for purchase at my Etsy shop next week. Hope you guys have a lovely weekend! Thanks for stopping by.
It's so, so pretty. I'll have to put your Etsy shop on my Christmas idea list for my family. :) Where do you find nice, smooth stones like that? I've only had moderate success finding good stones like that, depending on where I am.
That is really lovely. Do you use some sort of acrylic ink pen or paint with a brush? The details are so fine and the colors are beautiful! I'll be watching your shop next week.
Gorgeous!!! I didn't think I could use acrylic inks on rocks. Btw, my white FB ink seems pale, do you go over with several coats to get opaque white? I have collected beautiful smooth stones like yours and I almost threw them out last week thinking I don't have time to paint them. Well, here is my inspiration, thanks for making me think of them again, I think I will paint me some rocks :))
You are the best, simply the best. But I'm sure you already know that. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent on your blog. I love visiting!
I taught a rock painting class this summer and I had a BLAST! I never did it before either! I ended up making a pile before the class to show other painting options for the students, and I ended up selling EVERY one of them! Can't get a more natural painting surface than beautiful sea pebbles. :-)
So so pretty, when children find a rock it's a treasure, But when you paint on it it's even more.. Have a good weekend. p.s. your art craft tutorial vacation looks wonderful...
This is so inspiring! I have a collection of my favorite pebbles in a dish just sitting and staring at me and now I think I know what to do with them. I don't think they will be anywhere near as beautiful as these though :)

The stone and butterfly concept is so pretty, they actually draw the butterfly so neatly. I love it.
