Three little fimo birds
All done! I painted them with acrylic & a coat of matte varnish.
It's Daniel's now because he asked me for it...how could I say no to Daniel :)
He wants to put it on the window above his desk in the new house.

I even liked your birdies in just plain white - very elegant! - but they are even more gorgeous now that you've painted them.
I used to love Fimo as a kid, and I'm sure it's even better to work with than when I used to play with it 15 years or so ago. Thanks for the reminder - I've been meaning to get some more!!

Please, oh, please make some for the shop!! I'd just love to have some! We just moved into the country and I'm falling in love with birds for the first time in my life - chickens, chickadees, woodpeckers, magpies, red tail hawks, eagles, osprey - and the most darling hummingbirds! And did I mention chipmunks? Not birds, but so cute! ;) I'll be keeping an eye on the shop!!

Where do you purchase the acrylic paint you are using on the birdies. I have tried to google it, but am not coming up with anything. Thanks.
WOW! Thank you so much for your sweet comments friends :) I'm so happy you liked them. I wish I had the time to make a whole bunch of these and add them to my shop but I've been so busy lately and they do take a lot of time from start to finish.
Donna: The acrylic paint brand is Mexican and I don't think they sell it outside of Mexico :( You could try Liquitex. It is a really good brand they sell in the US and are easy to find online. Any kind of acrylic paint would work. I bought these because they were very cheap and came in lots of colors.
