Oh, he's so beautiful! I have lots of painted buntings at my feeder, but I've never seen one of these, and probably never will. I can't wait to see what he inspires in your art!
Oh Geninne I would say the same, but we got 7 inches of snow today in Kansas City. And, it is still snowing. Thanks for sharing the beautiful picture. I love your work.
Yay spring!!! I can't wait... we are still waiting up here in the frozen north. HA! I am passing a lovely blog award onto you my dear. I know you must get them all the time and you don't need to accept but I thought you should know. Find out about it here.... http://carrieleewendt.blogspot.com/2010/03/am-i-on-red-carpet.html HAPPY SPRING xo Carrie
What a stunning bird and a great photo. I'm amazed that you have such fabulous birds there. Aussie birds don't tend to be so bright in colour, I suppose to blend in with our bush. The only bright ones aren't native! Love your blog, you have inspired me to press forward with my stamp carving. Just blogged about it.
What a beauty! Great foto of him too. And I thought the Cardinal of the east coast of the USA was RED.....unfortunately, we don´t have either of these two red beauties in Germany :(
What a beautiful photo! I'd love to see you paint it. It's been mixed sun & overcast the last few days, but our Stellar Jays, Chickadees & Hummingbirds are pretty active now. Cheers!
