Fried!

This only happens a couple of times a year.
I must just go with the flow
& hope to be back to my creative self soon :)
In the mean time I wanted to show you
these really cool painted wood "g" and "Z" letters
I got during our trip to San Miguel.
That turquoise fan has been
a life saver!

Your drawing and your gorgeous room makes my heart sing! I need to revamp my art/craft room, so I'll have to come back to these photos every day for inspiration.

Thank you for your continued inspiration, even if you are hot in Mexico. We have have record heat and wildfires here in BC. Today it was nearly 100 degrees!!!I know how you feel.

I totally relate! I can barely look at the sun you drew, it's so accurate... I have Summer SAD (seasonal affective disorder in the summertime) and I posted a link to this on my blog (I hope you don't mind). It's so hard to feel creative when the heat is sapping your brain away! Even when your brain is zapped you are still creating something meaningful to others :-)

I always love your displays! My prints look so happy there. :-) I know exactly what you mean about feeling fried - all week at midday I've collapsed into a sweaty heap. Siesta weather, for sure.

We have not had too hot of a summer and it has not been too cold either. We have had a few cloudy days and some rain.
I love your 'inspiration station' as I call art boards where artists place things in thier homes to inspire themselves!

It's going to be 107 in the Inland Empire (So. Cal) on Wednesday so I will be thinking of you. I am brainstorming on how I am going to keep my little K, 3rd and 4th grade cuties cool so they can do homework. I am dying to go the beach and paint some sailboats, but school must prevail! (:
