We are in love :)He's coming home with us on the 23rd and
I need to hurry up and finish
six books on Border Collies
that I'm reading right now.
We got to meet Turbo
& his little brothers and sisters today
and we cannot stop thinking about him.

I have 2 friends that have border collies, and they could not be wonderful dogs! Very active, but smart, eager to be trained, loving, friendly, wonderful dogs.

I grew up with border collies...they are faithful to a fault, and really, really need work to do (they herd kids/cars/buildings obsessively if they don't get a workout)! SO easy to train, and wonderfully cosy. He's absolutely adorable!
My human mom says she has NEVER seen an ugly puppy!!! Enjoy and make him a stuffed toy birdie to call his own.

Mi historia de amor por los perros comenzo con un Border Collie, se llamaba Oso, él fué muy especial, me acompano en momentos muy dificiles, creo que esta raza tiene una gran sencibilidad. Les esperan muchas horas de alegría a tu familia.

Oh Geninne, my heart is melting - we had a wonderful border collie for 16 years, and he just passed away. I was missing him so much - thank you for sharing Turbo. He will be a delight and joy, and a lot of work! And perfect for boys. My Rob even had the same bi-colored nose, which changed colors over the years . . . if you ever need border collie advice just write - they are not 'regular' dogs!
Turbo will bring such joy to your lives! What a cutie! When our puppy arrived thirteen years ago, I was given the book The Art of Raising A Puppy by the Monks of New Skete! It is a very helpful and practical book!

Turbo is just precious! Border Collies are such special companions - in many ways almost more human than canine! The vocabulary they understand is absolutely amazing, and they are soooooooo loving and loyal....Enjoy!
Have to add re the comments about them needing something to do, they do chew a bit as puppies. I still remember coming home to find half a dozen completed watercolors turned into confetti by our B.C., Sundance, haha (easly to laugh at NOW, but at the time, not so much). :)

Not long to go now! I was the same when I was waiting for my little Ruby to arrive, now she's been with
us 7 months and I couldn't imagine my life without her, she's already thought me so much ... Patience for one ... she's a stubborn Jack Russell, somewhat tempered by a pinch of Border Collie, thankfully!
