Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you so much for all of the commentson my very first video tutorial :)
I am so glad everyone enjoyed it,
it was really fun to make and I will definitely
make more videos for you in the future.
I received many emails with a variety of questions
about my work & blog so I decided to make
a little series of F.A.Q. posts to try and answer all of them.
F.A.Q.#1
What camera do you use
to take all the photos you post on your blog?
For the first two years of my blog I used a
4 megapixels Fuji FinePix S3100.
I recently gave the Fuji to my youngest son
and bought myself
a 10 megapixels Canon PowerShot SX10IS.
I edit (crop, resize, brightness, etc...) my photos with
PhotoShop Elements.

Thanks for this info, I love to hear about the tools people use to make their art. And the video tutorial was fascinating.

Thanks for sharing. I'm always curious, as a photographer, what other people use for their photographs!
Thanks for sharing Geninne! My daughter let me borrow her10 megapixels Canon PowerShot SX10IS and now I really want one too. Can't wait to see pictures of your puppy!
:) We did the same thing when we got our really nice camera...our daughter now uses the little camera. Some of our funniest and most interesting shots come from her.
Lots of close-ups; her feet, our chickens, the cat...every cookie or cupcake she ever ate.
Thanks for always sharing, Geninne! Your generosity is as beautiful as the art you create! I loved you video so much! You've opened up my eyes in so many ways and I'm so grateful!
Eu tive uma figi ,mas acho a Cannon muito melhor!!um beijo para o Mexico!!
Nikon D40 is my camera of choice :)

Will you be reinstalling your son's paper diorama website? I wanted to show it to my students and am sad it's not available any more.
I see from your Etsy store that you print your pieces on an Epson R1800. How do you digitize your watercolors and collages? Scanner? Camera? Your prints are so finally detailed.
Love to hear in and FAQ.
Thanks
Alice
I'm curious about the above question as well! Did you use a scanner?
