Interesting how the blues got progressively desaturated--another gorgeous piece of work!

Just wanted to say how much I love this! Your work is gorgeous. The Tufted Titmouse is one of my favorite birds - we've got tons of them peter-peter-petering all year long, they're so precious. At least, I think yours is a Tufted? Either way, I love it! And daffodil is my favorite flower. I love that you've included the hefty bulb and roots. Really lovely.

Geninne. Lovely painting again!
I am curious to know what type of reference pictures you work from. Do you work from photographs, or just from images in your head? Are these all real bird varieties that you paint?
