Goldfish on Kraft
I did a little experiment today.I used some kraft paper instead of my usual
watercolor paper and drew the little fishy
with a nib and my white acrylic ink,
then gave it a wash in watercolor
and this is the result.
I've always been a HUGE fan of kraft paper
and I think I'll be doing
lots more drawings on it
from now on.

This is gorgeous!
Love the kitties too.
I think I'm going to dig out my watercolours one of these days...
You know how much I love your work, but this might be my absolute favorite piece of yours that I've ever seen. It's gonna make me cry, it's so lovely. If you ever decide you might want to sell it, I'd be sure to give it a good home.
I love the piece. I continue to be inspired by your creative abilities. I want to chime in with Carlene on the deep desire to own one of your painting. I saw the winter cards on your shop at cafepress.com. Is there any hope there will be new springtime cards soon. I have my fingers crossed.
Thank you girls from the bottom of my heart.
I've been playing with the idea of opening up an Etsy shop, but snail mail here in Mexico is so unreliable :( I'm just to scared to recieve money from you guys and have the pieces lost in never never land. I've also considered doing UPS or DHL, but they're just so expensive.
If I do decide to make some prints available at the cafepress.com shop I'll let you know. And I'll keep on chewing on the idea of an Etsy shop a little longer :)
Thanks again, your comments motivate me to keep on sharing my stuff on the web.
I am blown away by your life and art. I found you randomly a few weeks ago and added you to my favs to be looked at when I had time. Two of my babes are sleeping, and I have spent the last hour absorbing your blog.
Your talent is astounding really. Thank you for such inspiration and beauty. I have the chills.

Oh, what a wonderful idea! It was a great success.

This is soooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful ! The thing I don't understand is how you can add or apply your watercolors (after you draw with your white ink) without the fact your white ink could spread all over ??? Can you explain it to me ? PS: you're talking about snial mail in mexico, does it mean it's quite impossible to send you some presents ? I wanted to send you a parcel... sniff snifff sniffffff...
Congratulations four your wonderfull work! I found your blog 1 week ago and now I'm a daily reader.
One kiss from Me and another from Pico (portuguese island).

This artwork is so lovely Gennine. I love fishes. I might have to try using some white ink! I didn't know it existed. What brand do you use?
