Everything that needed to be stuffed is done! A squishy version of Turbo is traveling with me. Two more sleeps & Toronto here I come! :-)

Made with Love

I finished all of the ornaments for Bookhou that I will hand deliver in a couple of days. 

Now it's on to finish a few gifts for some very special friends ♥ whom I can't wait to see!

House & Birds

I sew & sew bird ornaments while Manolo continues to make progress with our new house. Here are a few photos I took of the construction site over the weekend. The ground level (which is below street level) is where our bedrooms will be and the top level will have the living/dining room, kitchen and studio. I'm getting so excited about our house, can't wait to move in in the spring!

Ornaments

I'm making some embroidered birdie ornaments like these to be hand delivered at Bookhou next week where they'll be available for purchase during December. I used Strathmore iron-on sheets on linen & I still need to cut, embroider and sew so I'll get on it!

Getting all the gifts wrapped up for my Canadian friends. 

I'm getting so excited about my upcoming trip in less than two weeks!

There are still some spots available for the workshop I will be teaching at Boohou in case you want to join us. It will be so much fun to spend the afternoon stamping away and drinking Mexican hot chocolate. I'll bring some of my own carved stamps so we can play around and make some wrapping paper & tags to be used during the holidays. 

All the materials needed are included, all you have to bring is your lovely self :-)

Cleaning & Sorting

After an intense few months working non stop with commissions the drawers in my studio were in desperate need of a good cleaning/sorting so spent a few hours last night tackling some of the chaos. I still have a few more drawers to go and I'll spend a good part of today scanning my paper ephemera collection. 

Beading

A little beading this morning while listening to the birds chirping outside.

I found the box with all the little wearable art squares that I started over a year ago.
