I love gray, rainy days! They are so beautiful and allow you to focus on your immediate surroundings. Sometimes we are so focused on things outside that we forget to take a look at what's right in front of us like what you show us in your photos. I'm in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, USA, and while we get a lot of rain, right now its cold with some crusty snow outside. I know Spring is just around the corner though and I'll get my share of lovely rainy days. Adore your blog Geninne, thanks for being a prolific blogger.
Living in San Diego, I find rainy days a bit depressing, but only because sunny days light me up from the inside out! That doesn't keep me from loving all your beautiful greys :o)

I loved rainy grey days when I was a child and I had plenty of time to biult lakes, rivers with mud and water. It was great:) Nowadays I like it too, especially when I don`t have to rush. I listen to Dad Can Dance and the rain. There is a beautiful poem of Polish poet Leopold Staff "Deszcz Jesienny" . I love it.
Now i like them too because they give you the opportunity to make lovely pictures. Have a nice day, sunny or rainy... xx
Living in nuevo mexico makes me appreciate gray rainy days as well. It's a bit gray here today although it started out sunny. For February, which can be dreary, it's not too bad. Wishing you a lovely weekend!

Grey , rainy days are my fav too. My daughter says the same thing....I've spent 20 years in TX and she grew up in Tx where grey rainy days are far and few between maybe thats why we cherish them so....my mother used to say rainy days were the best shopping weather days.......hmmm....not me, i'd rather stay curled up inside,dry warm reading a good book. :)
