Midnight Blues
Last night I needed to unwind so I painted stones.
Queretaro is always windy so it's great to have lots of paperweights
on hand around the house to keep stuff from flying away.
I painted these with acrylics and a very fine round brush.
The beautiful triangle pattern is from one of my favorite Bookhou bags.

I love it that they are that deep blue that is like nighttime. They are restful and spiritual!
magic with a stone....or how to bring beauty on earth...
Ah they're lovely. Do you just make the designs up in your head or do you take inspiration from anything?

beautiful! when you say very fine round brush...can you tell me how fine and how small? i have been desperately trying to create tiny lines like you but cannot seem to locate the right size for the fine, skinny lines. thanks in advance if you do get the chance to answer. keep on inspiring us...we love it.

Love that midnight blue... such a gorgeous colour :)
ayyy esa piedra en azul, qué bella!!
I love that that is how you unwind. I'm thinking of getting some new colored thread (like pic. before) and trying some friendship bracelets/anklets/necklaces...
Great work. Love your eclectic style of art.
What a beautiful way to unwind! I wish I had that sort of motivation and talent.
This stone reminds me on haiku . Perfect in its simplicity reveals the moment of eternity.
