Iron-on Elephant
When I bought the iron-on transfer paper to make the fabric bird banner I also bought a package of iron-on transfer paper for dark fabrics and tried it out this week with my flowery elephant on a dark green tee. The pretty triangle pattern linen bag is from Bookhou and the dark teal gossamer scarf is from Uniform Natural.

That is so awesome! Years ago, when I started painting mandalas - a friend of mine said "I could see them on clothing and bags." I bought the transfer paper, but the shirt I used had too much stretch to it and it washed right off. I should do it again. Thanks for the inspiration.

This looks lovely. I've used those iron on transfers myself- I embroidered ove an image of Frida Kahlo, I loved my shirt, but unfortunately I was not super careful with the laundering of my t-shirt and somehow it found it's way into the washing machine and unfortunately it has started to peel off in places. Very sad.
So just a word of warning, Hand wash only!!!!

that's the best use of dark t-shirt transfer paper i've ever seen! i have never been happy with my results in the past....i love that you cut out the elephant instead of leaving a white background {i think that's what you did?}...'s wonderful!

Wow! The image is really striking on the dark t-shirt. I would like to echo what other commentators have said; I would buy a t-shirt on the spot if you had them in your shop!

Would you post a tutorial? I am not very crafty but your blog is amazing - I want to do everything now!
