We recently installed the tile in our bathroom :)
It looks really cheerful,
specially in the morning light.

Phone doodles

This month has been a whirlwind of activity,
with not much time to spend drawing.
These doodles were done while on the phone
with a good friend yesterday :)

Terrarium

I finally put together the terrarium
I wanted for my studio.
The jar is 8 inches tall by 6 inches wide.
I decorated it with some rocks,
one of my hand painted stones & a bunny
I borrowed from my kids.

I am patiently waiting
for this book to be released

Seaweeds

I gifted myself these beautiful
seaweed pressings for Christmas
from Martha's Etsy shop
I am in LOVE with the work she does
with these sea jewels.

Christmas Tree

I'm working on a few
needle felted & embroidered birdies for the tree.
I hope I can finish at least six of them
before Christmas

Even though we were away for just one week,
I really missed my cozy studio.
Now I'm back and ready to work!

I bought that amazing black sea fan coral
in a beautiful little shop
called Seaport Village Shell Co. in San Diego.

This little birdie joined us for breakfast yesterday
at the Cafe 222.

Paint it, pack it, ship it

Having a little shop where I can sell my work
has been such a wonderful experience.

Preparing my prints to be shipped
is as fun as making the art itself.

I want to thank each and every one of you
that has taken a little piece of me into their home :)

We'll be going on a little vacation tomorrow.
I plan to continue posting from our destination,
so come back often, I love to have you here!

The shop will be open,
but anything you purchase
between December 3rd till the 10th
will be shipped on Monday the 15th.

Tiny, tiny books

After lots of meticulous work
the tiny books are ready!

They will be available at my Etsy shop
tomorrow at noon CST.

I was only able to make 15 books,
and only 10 will be available in the shop tomorrow.
