When we were kids my dad used to paint us little round stones like this. Every girl in the family (3 daughters+our Mom) received her own.
Looking back it´s so good to understand how sweet the gesture is. Thanks for helping recalling those memories! :) - Hilary Frye said...

I just found your blog. I came over from jamjar. I just love your artwork. It reminds me of Charley Harper's silkscreen art. Thanks for the information on acrylic ink. I love learning about new mediums. Your studio is so neat and tidy. I will try to be just as tidy. I can't work in a mess. Please come take a look at my new artblog. I've put you on my favorites. :)

Hermosas.
A veces, también pinto piedras, pero con acríclico. Buena idea la de las tintas acrílicas; tengo, así que voy a probar. - Sara Shalom said...

Since reading this post, I have become ridiculously addicted to sitting on the beach with a super-fine-tip paint pen, decorating teeny tiny pebbles and receiving very odd looks from nearby children. I've already lavishly filled two little plates with them. I can't stop..... THANK YOU.
