Jacarandas
The gorgeous jacarandas are in bloomand my birdies wanted to go out and play!
I've had a terrible cold this week,
but just looking at the color of these trees
makes me feel better already :)

Hola, Geninne! Qué linda idea la de tus pájaros de volar hacia los jacarandaes! Una belleza... Uno se olvida que las estaciones están cambiadas en este hemisferio. Acá, tanto los jacarandaes como los bellísimos lapachos hace rato que están sin hojas, esperando el otoño! Te mando un besote y espero que ya estés mejor!

Hope you are feeling better. I am a long time reader, but first time commentor. I like the effect of putting your artwork into a photograph. I wish I were handier with a computer! I am going through a 'bird phase' in my artwork and love to see it in other people's as well. Another thing we have in common is that I too incorporate my faith into my art. i love this. here they bloom in November...we call them the exam tree, because that is when the end of year school/uni exams are on. they are in almost every household in my city. Down south in Australia is too cold.
