i love love echino fabric. i have a panel i just coo over and pet and never use for anything because then i wouldn't have it anymore.
geninne, i will follow you around the internet saying THANK YOU for letting me interview you. :^)
xoxoxo
Very nice interview! I love to look at the way your studio is decorated. Did you make the wall boards or buy them? I want to make some, but I'm still not sure what type of material to use as the base.
Those curtains look lovely, so does your studio, and there's sunshine!!! It's so cold and wet in London it's unbelievable.
Thank you so much friends, you are so sweet :)
Kristin: The wall panels are metal magnet boards I bought in IKEA a looooong time ago and I just recently covered them with cotton/linen fabric. I used book-binders glue (PVA glue) to stick the fabric to the metal board. Your could also cover homasote wallboard (they sell it Lowes and Homedepot) with fabric and use pins instead of magnets...
Hope that's helpful :)
Geninne - I'm visiting because I read the interview on Inspiration Boards. What a lovely blog/flickr account you have. (I think that I favorited half of the pictures that you have up on Flickr!) You seem very colorful and inspiring - I'll definitely be a returning visitor.
Cheers, Sarah aka Geek+Nerd
Geninne, I really enjoyed reading the interview. Your home is so warm and beautiful. I laughed when I read the part that you said you are extremely curious and like to know how things are made, because I am just the same way. Reading your blog has became a great source of enjoyment of my daily life. Thanks for your beautiul works and hope your dream of owning a shop with your hubby will come true as soon as possible!! : )
Your home is a wonderful mix of natural and created beauty. I love how you display your artwork throughout your home in a way that is warm and inviting and totally uncluttered.
Belo studio!
Thanks for the tip on the boards!
