I was missing you, dear friend!
I am about to move too, can you believe it? We've sold our old apartment and bought another one at the same street I have the studio and my hubby's publishing house. We will walk like 50 meters to work every day and this is something great in a city like São Paulo!
It's been crazy times since the beginning of july, with lots of shopping for furniture, painting the walls and all kinds of things!
I'll post some pics soon on my Flicker page.
With all that happening, I've been away from the blog too! No time to draw anything, but furniture and wall decorations.
I was worried about you for being away so long, but then I realized that it is summer vacations there, so you'd be probably having a ball under the mexican sun, with all the squirrels and bunnies on the wood.
But remembering your drop dead gorgeous house I can't help but wonder: was it hard to let go all that and start over?
Did you know that your bedroom was (and still is) the bedroom of my dreams?

I'm so glad you're back! I've missed your gorgeous illustrations. I love those letter stamps, I must give that a try. I've made stamps, but been afraid of doing letters. Also, your embroidered bird is fantastic. Makes me want to get the linen and embroidery floss out.
